NCET next Wi-Fi Wednesday will be held October 17, 2007 at Se7en, teahouse and bar. Se7en is one of Reno’s hottest “Hot Spots.”
Wi-Fi Wednesdays are Greater Reno Tahoe’s newest bi-monthly high-energy networking opportunity designed for the influential 21-39 demographic. The event creates an environment where enterprising young professionals and emerging executives come together to share ideas and success stories while forging new business relationships
On August 22, 2007 NCET held the first Wi-Fi Wednesday at the Chocolate Bar. More than 75 of Reno’s young professionals attended the inaugural Wi-Fi event.
Space for the October 17 Wi-Fi Wednesdays is limited and reservations are recommended. NCET’s Kicks Off Wi-Fi Wednesday
The results are in: NCET’s Wi-Fi Wednesday is officially the hippest, hottest new networking venue for up-and-coming young professionals in the Greater Reno-Tahoe area!
More than 70 people turned out for the high-energy launch of Wi-Fi Wednesdays August 22 at The Chocolate Bar. This trendy new bi-monthly event was created to serve the unique and evolving professional needs of the influential 21-39 demographic.

Some of the highlights of the August 22 kick-off:
“Speed Networking,” a twist on the “speed dating” concept that pulls together numerous one-on-one introductions in a short period of time. “Speed Networking” was an instantaneous hit. When NCET’s Emily Lowe shouted, “Go!” to start the first round, the room roared with enthusiasm. “There was such a great buzz in the air!” said Amy Anderson of the Reno Tahoe Young Professionals Network (YPN).
Do You Tube? Carlos Flores does! Carlos was the $100 award winner in the Wi-Fi “You Tube” video contest, wowing the crowd with his Grammy Award-worthy impression of Enrique Iglesias. Check out the winning video on You Tube title Carlos as Enrique.
Sound like a blast? Don’t miss the next Wi-Fi Wednesday! We’ll be turning out at high-tech venues throughout the area that feature wireless Internet access.
